Abstract
This article explains that the concept of the Self has various interpretations in many historical and theoretical sources, philosophical schools and religious teachings, and the specific manifestations of the concept of "Self" in the historical and theoretical sources of Egypt, Mesopotamia, India, China and Central Asia, which are considered the centers of ancient civilization and culture, and its impact on the relationship between the individual and society are explained. The fact that a person reaches spiritual and moral maturity through the education and control of the Self is analyzed through an analytical comparison of sources and historical literature. By reforming the Self, a person acts not only for his own benefit, but also for the benefit of society. It is shown that the Self becomes a guarantee of justice and social stability.
