THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC NATURE OF INVESTMENTS AND THE INVESTMENT STRATEGY OF THE REGION

Abstract

The article substantiates the importance of foreign investments in the development of domestic enterprises and the need to use internal and external resources for the development of the region. The author's definition of foreign direct investment is given, as well as the interpretation of investments and investment activities in a broad sense is applied. It is also emphasized that it affects the motivation of a potential investor when choosing an investment object.
