Abstract
The article provides information about the "Emancipation of Eastern Women" directly related to the establishment of Soviet power in Turkestan in 1917-1924. Information is provided about the participation of active women of the Tatar and Bashkir peoples in the involvement of Turkestan women in the social and cultural life of the region, and the development of enlightenment.
