READING IS THE BASIS FOR FORMING INNOVATIVE THINKING

Abstract

The article sets out the socio-philosophical point of view of the author that the culture of reading, which is considered relevant in society today, is the basis for the formation of innovative thinking, and also makes an attempt to objectively analyze the state of the processes of the role of the library and new information technologies in the development of a culture of reading among young people. The relevance of the formation and development of a reading culture among young people is emphasized. During this process, views were expressed about the importance of the library and new information technologies. Emphasizing that attention to reading in Uzbekistan is inherited from our ancestors, it is concluded that the phenomenon of reading is one of the least studied areas, especially the role of new information technologies as a comprehensive object of research in the formation of a reading culture and innovative thinking of students.
